WL8 & WL5

WL8 is right off of August Light.  The path is clearly visible from the road, and the tot lot is just a minute walk away. It's fairly well shaded, but the morning we were there the slide was slightly in the sun. The plastic slide is not even 5 feet high, and is a very smooth ride down. There are steps going up to it, and a little tunnel area underneath for the kids to run in as well.  There's a small sandbox, but no toys. Five swings, 2 baby swings and 3 adult swings and 2 bouncy animals. It's surrounded by the paths and lots of green grass for the kids to further run around on. If, like our kids, your little ones enjoy the bridges on the path, there are 2 bridges in sight for them to throw sticks and rocks into. There's one bench to sit on.

WL5 is a 5 to 10 minute walk further down the path (walking time determined by the company of 2 easily distracted toddlers!).  If you drive there, the path is right off of Green Mountain Circle, right at the intersection of New Moon Place. You could also park on Rivulet Row, the walk would be a slight bit farther though. There's a square sandbox, but no toys. Three sides of the sandbox are a bit high off the ground. There are 3 bouncy animals, 1 adult swing, and 1 baby swing. The plastic slide is about 5 feet off high. The bottom of the slide is about a foot off the ground, so you may want to watch the first time your little one goes down. There's also a bounce on the slide. There are steps up to the slide and again, tunnels underneath.  Again, lots of grassy area to run around, and some big rocks to climb too. We did, however, find a few pieces of glass near the rocks.  Sadly, I didn't think to take pictures of the rest of the tot lot or the fun rocks!
