HR9

We visited HR9 on May 28, 2015 and revisited  (and updated this blog post) it on July 30, 2019.  It's just off of Buglenote Way in Hickory Ridge. Parking and pathways are also on Audobon Dr. and Sixpence Cir. Also notable, this tot lot has the rubber mulch.
This was, in my opinion, one of the nicest of the totlots we've visited so far. There is one sandbox, which is slightly separated from the rest of the play area, and there are 3 benches for adults to sit on right next to it. There are monkey bars, also slightly set off from the rest of the play area. There are only 2 swings, one big kid swing and one baby swing.
The rest of the tot lot reminded me a bit of a big treehouse play area. Two plastic slides, both with little bounces in them, and both about 6 feet tall. There's a chain link climber, which is great for the older and bigger kids. There's also a tension bridge, which isn't that creaky for the kids to cross. However, its sides are also chain links, and there is probably a gap of about a foot between each link. For little kids that can be just a little bit too big of a gap. My little one ran back and forth across the bridge a dozen times with no problems. But, she stopped once about midway across and caused a bit of a sensation with us when she tried to put her foot through the gap. So, keep an eye on your little ones as they cross that bridge. There are also steps to climb up to get to the slides. This tot lot has some nice games and the telephone tubes to play with too.
This is a nicely shaded tot lot as well.

This is one of the closest totlots to my house so we are pretty familiar with it and love it. The one swing is low enough that my toddler can happily ride on his belly on his own. It is a short walk to Clemens Crossing Elementary school playground as well as two smaller totlots we did not visit this day (but will). It also has the "telephone" tubes where you can speak to a friend from across the way. There is a trash can, a recycle bin and a receptacle for plastic bags for dog clean up.
